Micki Thompson
Micki received her Trauma Informed Kundalini 200-hour certification from Yoga Farm Ithaca in 2025 with an emphasis on Movement, Breath, and Meditation.
Her love of yoga began shortly after the birth of her first child in 2007 as a way to come back into her body. That love has never left, but a new love of Kundalini yoga has developed over the past few years. The intimate community and ease of moving stagnant energy in the body led her to getting her certification to keep the class as an option for the Yoga Olas community. She has a background in massage therapy, which brings a mind-body layer to her teaching style. She also dabbles in astrology, tarot, and stone energy work that influences her everyday life.
Micki strives to bring peace and balance to her life and practice. Her home in Salida has offered multiple offerings and blessings on this path. With one child in college and another in high school, life is always full of activity. Yoga is an outlet to release all of the tensions of everyday life and to go within to listen to the inner voice that is our true nature. She hopes that this passion for life and listening is passed on to those around her.
