Ashley Ferraro
Ashley was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM and found her way to Salida on a college internship in 2014. It’s easy to fall in love with this area, so after graduating from New Mexico State she made the move to Salida – the place she found her yoga community at Olas!
A dedicated practitioner since her move in 2017, she took the leap and signed up for YO’s first 250 HR Vinyasa YTT, earning her first teaching certificate in 2019. In 2021, she found herself ready for more and enrolled in a 300 HR Advanced Alignment YTT with The Yogi Muse, Michelle Marchildon at One Yoga Denver. During her 300 HR she also completed an additional 30 hours in “The Art of Assisting” with Janet Stone. During her second pregnancy in 2024, she completed a Yoga Sculpt training at Olas and is loving the creativity and strength of this format. Studentship and intentional effort are cornerstones of her values in life and on the mat. She is looking forward to continuing her training in various new yoga disciplines next year.
Yoga goes deep - there’s always something more to learn. A lover of yoga philosophy and mythology, she loves to share a story with a lesson for life. Her “why” is helping others see their divine potential through challenging asana and introspection. Ashley wants you to leave your mat feeling strong, sweaty, and full of joy!
She is also a wife and mother to two young children, an alignment nerd, an engineer, and a lover of politics and philosophy. Off the mat, you can find her finishing her Master’s degree, reading, listening to podcasts or going on daily walks with her babies. She currently teaches Vinyasa Sundays at 8:30am, where you can expect to challenge your mind and body. Keep an eye on the schedule for her Sculpt classes! Meet you on your mat<3
